About IPOWER
IPOWER isn’t a “new” company in the Web hosting industry, but their growth is admirable considering they’ve only been in business since 2001. Located in the Boston area with over 2400 square feet of space in their two data centres, IPOWER has the resources your sites need to function in a fast, safe, and secure environment. The company’s Web hosting plans are designed primarily for small and medium-size businesses looking to build their online presence. As a matter of fact, they’ve even dubbed themselves “The Power Behind eBusiness.” Could they be the power behind your business?
IPOWER Support
With more than 700,000 customers to take care of, IPOWER has developed an effective and streamlined support system to ensure quick service when you need it most. You can get live technical support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week over the phone or through the company’s live chat tool (ideal for international customers). They also offer a traditional knowledgebase, FAQs, tutorials, and more to help you navigate all elements of your new Web hosting plan.
Products, Packages, and Prices
Like other large Web hosts, IPOWER offers a variety of hosting packages so you can choose the best options for your individual needs.
They offer three Linux-based shared hosting packages (IPOWER Starter, the IPOWER Pro plan, and IPOWER Pro Plus). The shared hosting accounts each have multiple pricing tiers depending on your chosen billing cycle, with overall plan rates falling between USD$3.95 and $14.95. There is a $10 setup fee for the starter package, unless you order in a 24-month term.
IPOWER Pro offers free setup for all billing cycle options. If you order the Pro plan for a 12- to 24-month stretch, you’ll also receive one free domain registration. The Pro Plus plan features three free domain names and free setup if you order in a 12- to 24-month cycle (ordering for a 3- to 6-month term will incur a $30 setup charge and no free domain registrations).
If Linux hosting doesn’t meet your needs, the company also offers two shared Windows hosting packages, at prices of USD$6.95 per month and $14.95 per month. Linux and Windows virtual private servers (VPS) and dedicated servers are also available at USD$49 to $129 per month, as is a reseller account option (letting you run your own Web hosting business).
It’s hard to argue with success and the sheer number of customers IPOWER boasts. If a hosting company like IPOWER can’t meet your business Web hosting needs, it’s hard to imagine who can.
